The way you brought the characters more to life,

Has had people screaming “Darcy, I’ll be your wife!”,

The way you make weekdays oh so much greater,

(And the occasional weekend, although for me they come later),

And how you’ve adapted the story to fit,

I like your story arcs more than a bit,

With Lizzie, oh Lizzie, our leading girl,

With her remarks about Darcy making her want to hurl,

And Lydia my baby, the audience’s little sister,

How she proved to herself that she doesn’t need a mister,

Jane, the eldest, so kind and so sweet,

Her style and beauty is quite hard to beat,

Crazy Mrs Bennet, most insane of them all,

Searching for husbands with her pretty pink shawl,

Bing Lee is adorbs! Cares oh so for Jane,

Though when he didn’t beg for her it was quite a shame,

Wickham the beauty, or should I say beast,

He’s the one that most people seem to like the least,

Caroline is beautiful though her hair outshines her,

For ages her evil side wasn’t discovered,

Darcy the lobster, the newsie, the robot,

Lizzie thinks he’s a snob but we all know he’s mostly not,

I love how Charlotte is portrayed in this show,

The way you’ve allowed her character to grow,

Though how can I not mention Gigi the great,

We’re going to get married – you know it’s our fate,

I know I’m not mentioning everyone here,

But when I say that I love you all I am most sincere,

The characters are fantastic, the actors so good,

Find such beautiful people? I didn’t think you could,

Your crew hasn’t been mentioned up until now,

Which is ridiculous really since you make me go “wow.”,

With your talent and work I cannot begin to thank you for,

I appreciate it so and can’t wait to see more,

I’ve met so many brilliant people because of the series,

Discussing ships, characters, plots, and wild theories,

LBD, you’ve brought together a good bunch of friends,

We’ll be sticking together way past the end,

The talent that fans have is absolutely insane,

Knitting things, editing pics, GIFing sets of Bing and Jane,

I’m so lucky and appreciative to have met you all,

As happy to know you as Darcy is tall,

From talking to MK and Ashley and Chris,

To dancing and laughing, I’m going to miss this,

I’m going to miss the twitter updates and pics,

All the plot twists that you’ve thrown in the mix,

I’m going to miss the way Lydia says “Whaaaat!”,

The way Lizzie portrayed her mother as so nuts,

All the little smiles Darcy threw at Lizzie,

Did you think we wouldn’t notice? Please, you must be dizzie,

I’m going to miss the fantastic writing,

When I rewatch episodes I sit there reciting,

I’m going to miss all the plot twist reactions,

I’m going to miss the fan interaction,

But of all the things I’ve said, there’s one thing that stands out,

The one thing I think that your show is about,

So thank you to everyone, and as it comes to an end,

Thank you, Lizzie Bennet, for being my friend.
